About Bubbles
Bubbles is a colorful, fast-paced bubble shooter that runs right in your browser. A wall of colored bubbles hangs from the ceiling and slowly drifts down toward a dashed danger line near the bottom. Your job is to aim the cannon, fire bubbles up into the cluster, and pop groups of three or more matching colors before the wall reaches the line. Clear the whole board to advance, and keep going across 25 hand-tuned stages that get a little tougher every time.
There is nothing to install and no account to create. The game loads instantly, remembers your high score on your own device, and plays the same whether you have ten seconds or ten minutes to spare.
How to Play
The goal is simple: clear every bubble on each stage before the descending wall crosses the dashed danger line near the shooter. Here is what you control:
- Aim — move your mouse (or drag your finger on touch screens) to rotate the cannon at the bottom of the board. A dashed guide line shows exactly where your shot will travel.
- Shoot — click, or tap and release, to launch the current bubble. The next bubble waiting in the chamber is previewed beside the cannon so you can plan ahead.
- Bank shots — bubbles bounce off the left and right walls, so you can curve a shot around obstacles to reach a tricky color in the corner.
- Match three or more — when a fired bubble joins two or more of the same color, the whole connected group pops. Any bubbles left hanging with no path back to the ceiling break free and fall for extra points.
- Pause anytime — tap the pause button in the side panel to freeze the action, then resume or jump back to the menu.
Scoring & Difficulty
Every pop adds to your score, but the biggest jumps come from chains and combos. Larger matched clusters score more than a plain group of three, and a single well-aimed shot that detaches a chunk of the wall will send several bubbles tumbling for bonus points. Finishing a stage with the board fully cleared grants a completion bonus that grows with each stage you reach.
Before you start, pick a difficulty that fits your mood:
- Easy — three colors and a slow, forgiving descent. New colors are introduced gradually at later stages.
- Medium — four colors and a quicker creep, with a fifth color mixed in deeper into the run.
- Hard — all five colors from stage one and the fastest-moving wall, for players who want a real challenge.
Tips & Strategy
- Aim for the ceiling anchors. Bubbles only stay if they connect back to the top row. Pop the bubbles holding a section up and everything below it drops at once, often clearing far more than the group you matched.
- Use the wall bounce. When a color you need is tucked behind others, ricochet off a side wall to slip into the gap instead of forcing a head-on shot.
- Watch the preview. Knowing your next bubble lets you set up a two-shot combo — place the current one to build a cluster the next color can finish off.
- Clear the lowest bubbles first. Since the wall is sinking toward the danger line, removing the bubbles closest to the bottom buys you the most breathing room.
