Crop an image to a chosen aspect ratio

Choose a ratio, frame the subject and verify pixel dimensions after download.
Walkthrough
- Select a browser-decodable image.
- Choose an available ratio such as 1:1, 4:3, 3:2 or 16:9 and position the crop.
- Download and compare the result with your destination's dimension rules.
Open the relevant Tooldit tool.
What to check before relying on the result
Aspect ratio describes shape, not a guaranteed pixel count or file size. Cropping permanently excludes pixels from the exported copy.
Troubleshooting
If a service needs exact width and height, resize the cropped result separately. Leave room around faces or text before confirming the crop.
Privacy and output checks
Tooldit file and text tools process their contents locally. Optional page analytics is separate, and SEO and contact tools use network services. Read the Privacy Policy. Keep original files and inspect the output before sharing it. Examples in this guide are instructions, not measured performance tests.
