Count War is a fast crowd-runner where you lead a single crowned hero down a never-ending runway and turn him into an unstoppable army. The twist is math: every few seconds you reach a pair of gates printed with operations like +12, x2, -15, or -50%, and the gate you drive through decides whether your squad multiplies or gets cut down. Pick well, snowball your numbers, smash through enemy crowds, and topple the boss waiting at the end of each of the five levels. It runs right in your browser — nothing to install.

How to Play
The goal is simple: keep your army as large as possible all the way to the boss, then defeat it. You only control left and right — your soldiers run forward and shoot on their own.
- Move left / right — press the ← / → arrow keys or A / D. On a phone, tap the left half of the screen to go left and the right half to go right.
- Choose your gate — gates come in pairs. Green and blue signs are good (add or multiply), red signs are bad (subtract or remove a percentage). Steer into the side that gives the bigger crowd.
- Grab barrels and coins — orange barrels show a number; drive over one to add that many soldiers instantly. Spinning gold coins boost your score and coin tally.
- Recover after a hit — when a red gate shrinks your army, a glowing "SHOOT HERE" ring appears. Tap, click, or press Space to fire at it and win lost soldiers back.
- Crush the crowd, beat the boss — when you outnumber a red enemy group, your troops absorb it and its soldiers join you. The boss has a health bar; keep firing and dodging until it empties.
Scoring, HP, and Stars
Your crowned hero carries 3 hearts. The blue soldiers around him are shields — each one soaks a single enemy bullet before vanishing, so a big army is also your armor. Only once every extra soldier is gone do enemy shots start chipping your hero's HP, and if all three hearts are lost it's "Hero Fallen."
- Score — you earn points for gate gains, joined enemies, collected coins, and especially for defeating the boss. Your best run is stored as a high score in the browser.
- Stars — each level ends with a 1-to-3 star rating based on how much hero HP you finished with. Clear a level without losing a single heart for the full three stars.
- Bonus cart — beat the boss and a treasure cart rolls in, dumping a stack of bonus soldiers and points before the next level.
Tips & Strategy
- Multipliers beat additions when you're already big. An x2 on a 40-soldier crowd is worth far more than a +20. Early on, take the steady additions to build a base first.
- Don't fear single red gates. A lone minus gate triggers the shoot-to-recover board — land enough shots and you barely lose anyone.
- More troops = more firepower. Your bullet rate scales with army size, so a bigger crowd melts bosses and enemy groups much faster. Detour for barrels even if it costs a coin.
- Keep moving at the boss. Bosses spray pink bullets; weaving side to side keeps your hero out of the line of fire while your army keeps shooting.
- Watch the percentage signs. A -70% gate on level 5 can wipe most of your army in one pass — that is exactly when picking the other side matters most.
